Hommes & Process is delighted to announce the release of a new product in its GrooveIT! line: GrooveIT! for Microsoft Office SharePoint.
This product provides SharePoint - MOSS2007 and WSS3 - users with a simple, effective and secure way to extract documents stored in SharePoint lists and rework them in Groove 2007.

2 distinct versions exist:

- Based on a full "offline client approach" - Special Edition
A workspace is automatically created and closed.
This workspace only enables users to read, modify and add documents and synchronize them with SharePoint.
Thanks to the closed workspace, documents cannot be shared with anyone else.
Prerequisites: Groove 2007 SP2.

- Based on a distributed collaboration approach - Standard Edition
A workspace is automatically created and embeds the SharePoint documents.
The workspace manager is free to invite new members - potentially people from outside the company if this action is authorized by corporate policies - and add extra tools to communicate and collaborate.
Prerequisites: Groove 2007.

GrooveIT! for Microsoft Office SharePoint brings fantastic added value.
